Brook is a town located in Iroquois Township, Newton County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,062. Brook is located at 40°51'58" North, 87°21'57" West (40.866026, -87.365812). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.7 km²), of which, 0.7 square miles (1.7 km²) of it is land and 1.49% is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 1,062 people, 397 households, and 292 families residing in the town.
