China Grove is a town in Rowan County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 3,616 at the 2000 census. The town is located just north of Kannapolis, NC and south of Salisbury, NC. China Grove is located at (35.570289, -80.577934). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.0 square miles (5.1 kmΒ²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 3,616 people, 1,388 households, and 999 families residing in the town.
