Delmar is a town located on the border of Delaware and Maryland, along the Transpeninsular Line. Its motto is "The Little Town Too Big for One State." The town shares a central administration, police department, and public works department. The town is located in Sussex County, Delaware, United States. The population was 1,407 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Seaford, Delaware Micropolitan Statistical Area and a suburb of Salisbury, MD. Delmar is located at (38.458921, -75.571609).
