Eau Claire is a borough in Butler County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 355 at the 2000 census. The name means "Clear Water" in French, and the name is pronounced as though it were spelled "O'Clare." Eau Claire is located at (41.135335, -79.797914). According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.5 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 355 people, 135 households, and 105 families residing in the borough.
